Il libro è un appassionato omaggio alla costante e fervida attività di una pittrice tra le più attive del Novecento italiano: Adriana Pincherle. Sono qui illustrate 66 tempere di grande intensità cromatica e di forte impatto emotivo, eseguite tra gli anni Quaranta e Novanta del secolo appena trascorso.
Il percorso artistico e intellettuale dell’artista, introdotto dall’appassionato saggio di Giustina Ostuni, è completato da un corredo fotografico che documenta la vita privata dell’artista, sorella di Moravia, che ebbe amicizie quali Anna Banti, Onofrio Martinelli, Eugenio Montale, Elio Vittorini, Tommaso Landolfi.
