The third volume in the series “Il Santuario Ritrovato” offers an overview of recent archaeological discoveries at the Etruscan-Roman Sanctuary of Bagno Grande in San Casciano dei Bagni.

It features 41 scholarly contributions by more than 70 international authors, and offers a journey from background to excavation, to bronze finds, and to studies beyond bronze. 

Hundreds of findings and thousands of fragments are published along with the stratigraphic reconstruction of an extraordinary thermal site, with traces of rituals and cults from the fifth century BC to the fifth century AD and then again from the late Middle Ages to the present-day community of San Casciano.
