Jacopo Vignali a San Casciano
'Terre degli Uffizi' was created with the aim of enhancing the territory and its treasures less known to the general public.
This exhibition honours the figure of Professor Carlo Del Bravo, an eminent scholar of the Florentine University and an international figure, who died in 2017.
We owe him the donation to the Uffizi of a precious collection of 455 works of art including paintings, sculptures and drawings from the sixteenth to the twenty-first century.
We see a small, but very high example of his collection in this beautiful exhibition set up in the land that gave birth to the refined professor much appreciated for his personal research of a new and rigorous way of experiencing art, a passion that he was capable of transmitting, together with high scientific quality and unmistakable personal charisma.
