Capolavoro artistico del grande Donatello, questo tondo era stato concepito originariamente per una visione dal basso all'entrata della Cappella delle Grazie.
Oggi, con il suo marmo bianco e gli inserti di vetro blu, possiamo ammirare la Madonna detta del Perdono, nella Galleria delle Statue del Museo dell'Opera.
