La storia dell’edificio affiora dal passato attraverso i racconti di quattro personaggi, che intrecciarono le loro vite e le loro morti alle vicende dell’antico sito.
Il tour propone una formula non comune: una visita alle persone, non alle cose di un tempo, in un incontro-scontro con illustri e meno illustri rappresentanti di varie epoche: il conte Guido, Cosimo I de’ Medici, la fidanzata di un fantomatico Alfredo ed Isabella de’ Medici.
La performance da cui è stato tratto il video è stata realizzata nell’ambito di Outbound. Fuori dai luoghi comuni, importante rassegna di arte contemporanea che ha avuto luogo all’interno della Villa Medicea. Nel volume troviamo un’attenta analisi critica del linguaggio usato e approfondimenti sulla villa Medicea di Cerreto Guidi e la storia di Cerreto.
