Villa Stibbert
The volume is dedicated to the constructions and decorations of the Stibbert Museum, where extraordinary arms and furnitures have been collected by Frederick Stibbert (1838- 1906), who dedicated his whole life to gather the pieces and transform his once family villa into today's museum, where you can experience the eclectic taste in 19th century collecting.
Martina Becattini is the determined art historian who searched through the museum's archives, to indentify the names of the several artists and decorators who worked for Mr. Stibbert.
A must have for those passionate about interior design and architecture in 19th century Tuscany.
