Centango. Piazzolla 1921-2021
"Centango" is a piece for accordion and piano composed in 2021 that wants to be a tribute to the great musician (bandoneonist) and Argentine composer Astor Piazzolla (inventor of the "Nuevo Tango") on the centenary of birth (1921-2021). The influence of Argentine tango is evident in the song: the fast rhythm of tango alternates with slow times, with contaminations of modern music, contemporary and jazz improvisations, making tango and jazz passionately merge together in a single "love".
