Through an original reinterpretation of a great Andersen classic, a new musical fairy tale is published for the public of young readers, in which each character is associated with a musical theme and an instrument. The music of Andrea Basevi faithfully follows the unfolding of the action, creating magical moments like the love between the soldier and the dancer or the dangerous journey of the soldier on the paper boat.
Compared to the fairy tale by Andersen, the text processor Patrizia Ercole, brought a minute and important variations such as the replacement of the maid with the mother of the child and the moment of the story after the return of the soldier in a house after his amazing actions.
