On the occasion of the exhibition at the National Archaeological Museum in Florence, Food and Flavours of the Ancient World was published and in which the show's curators wanted to give space to the various museums scattered throughout the province of Florence. Every exhibition site gathers an important exhibit related by time period and culture to the Florentine event. But the volume also offers the opportunity for everyone to learn about the rich network of museum institutions in the province of Florence, almost all characterized by collections closely tied to the material culture or to the provincial reality. The book is therefore a great chance to understand the peculiarity of Florence's province. Published in Italian/English, this lively guide is accessible to all.
